Gene sits at his desk and thinks, "Why didn't I just do the assignment straight?" Gene walks up to the front of the class and thinks, "But noooo...! I had to be clever! I'm dead!" Gene holds up his paper and reads nervously, "'What I didn't do on my summer vacation.'" Gene continues, "I didn't do a lot more stuff than I did do..." The class erupts in laughter.
