Gene: Look, Dad! I made two dollars! Gene: I sold all the soda in the kitchen for a nickel a glass! Arlo: Son, I'll have you know that much soda cost your mother and me almost six bucks! Gene: He's just sore because he didn't think of it first!
My other half lived in Ohio all his life and has always called it soda. I’ve lived in Ohio all my life and have always called it pop. Both our sets of grandparents were from the south.
