She is self conscious about her body, like many women. Most men don’t notice the imperfections as much as females do. Men are happy to see more skin.

Not all of us boomers are wrinkled, David_42. In fact, most of us take much better care of ourselves than our parents did, and look younger than you’d expect. And remember: Arlo and Janis are both boomers.

Most of us boomers are well aware of the dangers of too much sun, so the cover-up is a good idea.
