Mary Lou: So, you plan to hang around here like some ghost for the time being? Gus: Well, that may be a moot point. Gus: I have what I think is a pretty good offer on the property! Mary Lou: Whoa, Pop! This is great! Gus: That's your share.
Gus speaks as an oracle. The “moot point” is that Gus knows his days are numbered, which is why he’s selling,and he may wind up being an actual ghost. Is it only me, or does Gus look older in today’s strip than even yesterday’s?
