Of the ones I see Arlo looking at, the mermaid looks the best to me. The turtle is next. Please, no garden gnomes! I really dislike those creepy things.

We have a local pond supply called Mermaid Gardens. Great place to visit.

My wife’s version is “Possibly.” As in "Possibly you will win a Nobel Prize in Chemistry for mixing cherry and orange Kool-Aid together and calling it “Chorange”.

Contrary to what Disney would have you believe, Mermaids didn’t wear bras. Perhaps that’s why Arlo wants one.

If my memory serves me correctly I seem to remember a nude statue in an art exhibit in one of the panels several years ago that looked a lot like Janis. Maybe Janis could pose nude for a mermaid sculpture for the water feature.

ralphyork666I remember an arc in which Arlo was on a small sailboat (not the schooner he has forgotten) and Janis was a suitably topless mermaid. However, there was always an arm or something in the way to hide her breasts except for an occasional view of the comma (which is how we know she was topfree). Still, mermaids (and -men) do not have scales, but short fur like a seal.
