Arlo and Janis by Jimmy Johnson for October 22, 2016
October 21, 2016
October 23, 2016
Transcript:
Arlo: I can't believe we're thinking about separate bedrooms!
Janis: We're NOT!
Janis: We just talked about it!
Arlo: Nevertheless, the dynamic is changed!
Arlo: Like when you break a 20-dollar bill!
Numbers I found say that anywhere between 25 and 30% of married couples sleep in separate rooms, and more in separate beds…I think it’s one of those things people dont talk about and Jimmy is just bringing up one of those conversations many couples have at some point in their time together.
If you or your partner snore, get tested for sleep apnea. Not only will treatment for it stop the snoring problem, it may significantly increase your lifespan and enjoyment of it.
I think the two are connected. We have a three year head start on you, but can echo and approve, with one exception: in case of contagious, but less than hospital, illness, the healthy one uses an alternative to remain healthy (and do the cooking).
We had 44 years yesterday. And I couldn’t sleep by myself. We are still wound around each other, hogging the covers, crowding each other after all these years. Even in a Queen size bed.

I have sleep issues and when I wake up tense and restless I reach over and pat my spouse and all is well again knowing she is there.

Maybe they should go in for a wider bed instead.
