DDRAZEN I remember four settings – On/Off, Station, Horizontal and Vertical hold, and kid sibling holding the rabbit ears.

That’s why you have HDMI-CEC enabled.

I subscribe to Acorn and watch British/Canadian/Australian/New Zealand shows. Much better than almost anything on American network or cable.

I use my tv mostly to listen to free Pandora music through my Roku player. Paid 40.00 for my first Roku player then used it for 9 years with no further cost. And only upgraded to a new Roku player about 8 months ago for 99.00, more bells and whistles, the only one we use is the earbuds on the remote for my better half to hear better. Still no other money spent that that. Internet doesn’t count, I use that mostly for gaming.

When the US and the USSR conducted their first joint space mission back in the 1970s, as the Apollo spacecraft docked with the Soyuz, the NASA crew radioed back something that sounded maybe a little bizarre near the height of the Cold War: “Houston, we have capture.”

And it only takes 5 remotes to get where you want to go.
