Be kind everyone is fighting their own battle you know nothing about.
This is why I was able to get along with certain people at work that others couldn’t. I would just let their confrontational words, obviously designed to incite me, roll off. I’d continue to treat them politely, and eventually, they’d quit trying to start an argument and often, would become downright friendly. With one lady, this had the benefit of me getting to hear some great stories of her long, eventful life.
