Had that happen and I did the same. Actually saved a couple of bucks.

She’s just waiting for the other shoe to fall. No “good day” goes unpunished.

Don’t worry! Be happy! Tomorrow things will be back to normal (or worse)!

I have done that with restaurant meals. On one occasion the waitress informed me the next day that the wife of a couple I secretly bought breakfast for, started crying and explain that her husband was beginning chemo that day and she was really depressed. The kindness from a stranger for the free meal lifted her spirits and relieved her concerns about her husband, feeling now everything was going to be okay.

Enjoy the blessings you have today & don’t fret about tomorrow; because it has its own cares and problems in itself.

Wanda, as would Howard on “The Big Bang Theory”, the Day is just waiting for the moment it can cause you the most pain… ☺

And soon she will wake up and realize that it’s all just a dream.

Close to that happened to hubby and I at a convivence station on a soft drink.

Most of the strips are the kids being terrible so I’m happy when something nice comes around for Wanda.
