About time!I’ve been reading John Allison’s stuff for a couple years now. Nice to see it being reprinted here. Just remember, this is a graphic novel, so it’s going to take a bit for the momentum to build up.
I’ve been reading Allison’s various rotating strips for years, and my favorites are the “Bad Machinery” ones with the 3 schoolgirls who investigate mysteries. I assume this strip will be a reprint of some of the story arcs from that series? (I am currently following Allison’s “Giant Days” comic book, about 3 different girls in their first year at university. It was planned as a limited series, but it has become popular enough that it is now an ongoing monthly book.) It’s a bit hard to remember all the cast members, though, because so many of the characters who appear in “Bad Machinery” also appear in the other strips, which are set in the same town!
Really pleased to start seeing British comics on GoComics – for a long time the only non-American one seemed to be Andy Capp, I suspect because that’s known in the USA. Get Steve Bell’s “IF” on this site and my joy will be a step nearer complete!

A quiet start to the day—look to the right for more on who these people are.

Allison did other strips in the same town. Scary Go Round is another.

It’s nice to see and read who they are while they have done nothing yet, still sleeping. Looks good.

I like Shauna’s hair.

Any British comic is fine with me. English instead of American, metric system, and humour instead of “humor” – I can’t ask for more!

Oops, I just realised how old the kids looked. Had to delete my comment (spoilers all over). Sorry John!! It’s great to see the kids again! xxx

I already read this on its own site, but it’ll be nice to read from the beginning.

It’s either the Famous Five (plus one kid and minus the dog) or the Scooby-Do gang (plus one kid and minus the dog).

Note to anyone starting here: the strip starts being rerun May 4, 2020, you can start there then add to your comics page when you are current.
