She doesn’t realize that boys mature a bit slower than girls. She should have asked him what he wanted to part with and not just tossed the whole lot to little Clyde. He must have wanted the sealskin a bunch to give up such a big new beach ball. Even so that was a lot of cool plunder for the kiddy.
Maybe Clyde will grow tired of his new toys and will swap them back with Sonny, for something he bought with the five pounds. A new, even bigger beach ball?
All of mine are gone, lost in various moves. I had a Saturn V model complete, the drag racer from “The Munsters”, the ship from “Land of the Giants” etc.

Wrong, Lottie. You can never go back.

I’m in my seventies, and I still have some of my childhood toys. They produce pleasant memories.

I know the feeling, Sonny. There are some things you never outgrow.

CAN you outgrow your old useless babyish tat? At least Lottie’s idea worked, but poor Sonny.
