It is real hard for a 13 YO girl to accept a new dad. I know from experience, I was 32 when I remarried, my girl was 12 and a 1/2. The guy I married was barely 25 and hadn’t got experience with kids, besides the girl I had 3 younger boys, they were easy, new dad like to play with them, they ran little car tracks all Over the house, and he made them all rubber band guns with clothes pin/pegs but the girl hated everything!
Tip #21 for new heads of state and step-dads: When initially setting up your administration, first get an idea of what rules where in place during the old regime before imposing your own.
