Gracie: What's wrong Nora? Nora: People are saying stuff about a friend of mine. Nora: They say she's a smarty-pants and thinks she knows everything. Gracie: That's awful. Gracie: You have to tell your friends that's my job!
My mother has said something very similar before, and I took it as what it is…a joke. Kids say funny things sometimes. They believe in magical creatures and fairy tales, yet no one has a problem with that when they’re kids. Yet, let them think they’re smart and all of a sudden they’re a know it all.

I figured you Gracie haters would love this one. It does put her in a very bad light. Maybe she’s going to learn a lesson in this story arc.

Who could hate Gracie. I love her ambition and confidence. As she says knowing it all is her job, role in life.

Why do I get the feeling that the friend they were talking about was Gracie, herself?
