Female Teacher: What family does the Ocelot, also known as the Leopardus Pardalis, belong to? Female Teacher: Balo? Baldo: Um... I don't know. Baldo: No family on my block owns one.
Dear teacher, Baldo is just a little distracted today, what with such an historic occasion taking place in Washington today. Regardless of how one feels about qualifications, expected performance, political affiliation et al, this is a tremendous achievement for American society to put a person of colour in the White House.
Today indeed makes a historical occaison. I did not vote for President Obama but I pray he governs wisely. However, I do reserve to speak out if I feel his policies are going down the wrong path. This why we live in a “Representative Republic” after all.
I hope the mainstream media will hold him accountable should he step in it.
bluetopazcrystal, everyones entitled to his/her opinions. If they want to scream and cry because we have a young, half white, liberal, democrat as president, their perfectly entitled to. Acting like a 9 year old having a tantrum won’t change it. Reasoning won’t change it either, but it definitely feels classier….
