What makes you think that Halloween will be allowed to be celebrated in 2050? With the Dark Ages of Politicla Correctness, soon you will not be allowed any hollidays that have anything religious or might offend anyone. Thus doing away with all hollidays.

My grandchildren’s school already is mostly Hispanic.

Fireworks are a Halloween feature in Canada. Guy Faulkes Day doesn’t mean much there, so the pyrotechnics attach to the nearest holiday.

So the ER’s will be filled with Piñata incident victims instead of uninsured citizens. I wonder how fast they will handle them in 38 years?

I remember an editorial in the paper a few years ago claiming that immigrants were destroying beloved cultural traditions, such as having tamales for Christmas. I was never sure whether the author was serious, tongue-in-cheek, or reversed what he meant to say. It certainly sounded impassioned.
