Joey is shiftless, and probably his nephew, making him a prime management candidate.

Looks like a week (at least) of reruns.

I"ve put up with that type of missmanagment all of my working years.

Other than the fact that “no work” Joey should not be there at all, Mr. Rod has it correct. If the roles were reversed and Baldo did his job properly nothing would get done. Joey might not work even under pressure.

If you make yourself irreplaceable, then you will never get promoted.

Sounds like a plan, HarleyQ! By the way, I was up in Wisconsin during the Harley 100th anniversary in 2003. The highway right outside our front yard (about 40 miles north of MKE) was teeming with Harleys.

Mr. Rod better be careful. If Baldo gets upset enough to leave, his business will probably hit the skids. Customers do not like to shop at messy stores where the management does not care about them.

This doesn’t make sense. A rerun strip from five years ago and we get dumped right into the middle of it? Joey got fired in a different story arc, so it can be confusing to new readers who wonder who Joey is, since we never see him.
