We had to study from our school textbooks and class notes to pass our classes. Encyclopedias were rarely used. Book reports were done from assigned books. We didn’t have calculators to do math. We had to use our brains back then. These days, it’s a miracle kids are graduating and they don’t have the knowledge they should have.

My Mom did all my math for me so’s I could go out and play Babe Ruth league baseball. I’ve regretted that all my life, but in all the other subjects? Got “A’s” ‘n "B’s" !!!
