yes. like the part in helene hanff’s book about learning to become a writer. she’s reading this book that keeps leading her from one work of literature to another. she has to keep telling q, the author of that 1st book, the one on writing,—wait here, while she goes and reads another classic he assumes his readers already know

That’s what I like about teaching – I can learn so much.

That’s the most valuable thing I learned during my freshman year at college. Then I found out that Socrates said it first, or at least before I did!

Just because you know a lot doesn’t make you smart, Gracie. Don’t forget that. A lot of intelligent people do a lot of dumb — exceedingly dumb — things.

See? Nothing is new. And yet we all have to learn everything ourselves to find this out.

Can we PLEASE get some strips that DON’T just have feeble attempts at humor about Gracie’s addiction to having to super-achieve? One-word summary: BORING!
