My year’s bike maintenance is less than a month’s car insurance. My new bike to have a backup ride when something big happens cost less than a monthly payment with gas. It’s a beautiful thing.

My wife and I both drive electric cars. Not zero maintenance, but far less than internal combustion engines. Also better on mileage (no gas — plug into our solar panels) and doesn’t pollute the environment.
