Hector and Carlos you are showing your true colors here. You hate anyone who isn’t Hispanic and disregard their ancestry. Cherokee Indians are a real tribe and a real minority in this country. Maybe you are a little (a lot ) prejudice?
Hector and Carlos are NOT showing their “true colors” as Anna so snidely attempted to point out (and she managed to be disparagingly ‘racist’ at the same time – which is not difficult) – they are reflecting a very real ‘point of fact’ – Anglos have long claimed to be “part Cherokee” when they attempt to ‘prove’ they aren’t ‘prejudiced’, mainly because that’s the ONLY Indian tribe they are aware of (their Daddies drive one, you see!)
That’s because the Cherokee tribe was huge, and white settlers and Cherokees intermarried very early on in the settlement of the country, more than any other tribe. It may be a cliche to Baldo, but it is true nevertheless.
If you, as whatever ethnic group you belong to, say that people of your ethnicity can’t be a bigot, are you not in fact being a bigot by claiming an entire ethnic group is incapable of being/doing something?

Hey, Latinos are Native American too; there were indigenous peoples before the Europeans showed up. The Aztecs in Mexico for example.

There’s something known as The Blue Card, The Cherokee Nation Citizen Card. Real Cherokee like myself can prove it.

Those Cherokee’s were a proliferant bunch; every white who ever told me they were part native claimed Cherokee as their tribe.
