First day of kindergarten the early 60’s, Teacher signed us up with a child’s personal WaMu Bank savings account. Mom put a dollar in the deposit envelope Wednesdays, and by time I graduated the 6th grade, I was a regular J. Paul Ghetto with around $250.00 in my account !
