But will yelling profanity at them make them grow less when you want to grow faster?

ANY talk will help. It’s the carbon dioxide that comes out of your mouth that’s helping them.

    Would threats work?

“You like that water? If you want more then you better grow”

Yeah, but if you just take flowers out of a vase and shove them into the dirt, it’s gonna take more than talk!

Baldo, stop séxualizing the flowers. I mean, we do literally cultivate them for their séx organs, but stop making it weird!

Carmen didn’t like that idea. I can tell by her closed eyes!

It’s nice that Baldo likes to spend time with Tia Carmen

That’s not how daisies or roses grow so I’m guessing those are all plastic and Carmen is off her rocker.

I did a search and came up with this which may explain Tia Carmen’s displeasure at the phrase.

#1- chulitaA word made of Spanish slang, derived mainly from the word chula. A lil’ sexy mama, a lady who has the looks that catches the eye. Petite with a provocative style.

#2- In Spanish, it’s the diminutive form of the word “chula,” which means pretty, beautiful, or cute.

When you add the diminutive “ita,” it refers to a cute little girl or pretty little girl.

However, in Spanish slang, the word carries a stronger sexual connotation, and is usually applied to a petite adult woman, somewhat equivalent to the English phrase “my little hottie.”
