Goooooooooooooooood morning, Locos! After my experience with the state of California health care for out of state visitors I decided to see what I could figure out, especially since I need to unload the kayak and the bikes when I get home. So I started taking Advil in higher than prescribed doses and icing the elbow. After a couple of days doing that I noticed that there had been extreme swelling in the joint after I had hit it so hard on a rock. I also noticed that what looked like the elbow being out of joint was actually a result of the swelling and I was able to move the joint more freely. So no dislocated elbow. I can’t tell you how happy I am tonight. Today, we took a 2 mile trail hike in a lava flow area. I have some great photos and videos from that to send soon.
