Ted, how did you train Reggie to do that? I have three dogs that need a job such as that.

Goats work, too. Even cute miniatures.

So, Marg, have you trained your dogs yet? We would all like to know the secret.

My dogs eat things in the garden, but they are never the right things. And the liquid fertiliser, they use it too heavily in some spots, not at all in others. How can I make them understand the fine points of gardening? (Their fall pruning season is coming up, alas. Don’t get me started.)

Cleo, you do not need a blinking bone indicator. Claude knows you are always hungry. I didn’t know you fancied bad Mexican food.

Not to mention the fertilizing.

One of my professors referred to it as Taco Smell. He was right.

If it’s not a blinking bone, maybe Claude should drive to the dealer instead. It’s probably one of those things they call “emergency” lights.

Some emergencies are more emergencyish than others. I’d get to the gas station first, then maybe the butcher shop – nobody or no dog needs to be eating Taco Bell.
