That is one heroic looking cow! The dog turns his back on the whole thing.

With the cow’s tail up like that it’s look like it will be having a real movement.

You got that right, Claude! Tell the city it will get mowed when the mayor mows it.

Bossie is looking very pleased with herself. Scooter, on the other hand, looks quite put out.

There must not be any squirrels out there. We didn’t hear any BOOM coming form the yard. The reason why Ballard Street hasn’t been updated is because Cleo, Claude and Clara are talking to the evil cat up the street and offering two cans of tuna to that evil cat. Some owners of a certain comic web site would be visited at night by that evil cat and when they woke up, their places would be clawed to bits for not fixing Sherpa.

Evenin,’ all…. or g’mornin’, if by now, you’re of that persuasion.

    We’re here to comment on

the May 3rd  2019 “CLEO and COMPANY”

    on Sherpa….

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

And it’s a brand new animation, as promised….

another escapade in the life of our sweet, gentle Cleo.

Why, she’s practically a Jain, in her reverence for all life forms….

    with… you know… one or two exceptions…. or maybe…. I dunno…. six?

26? I mean, besides eliminating pesky creatures like squirrels and cats, and maybe…. deer…. and hippopotamuses…. a dog’s gotta eat, too, right?

As for the lawn…. the land mines are labelled “Squirrel Sensitive.”

Does that mean they have sensors that can positively distinguish a squirrel, or its footsteps… I mean, pawsteps…. and NOT blow up a dog… or a cat… or a Claude?

That technology would be awfully expensive….

but would mean lawn-mowing would be perfectly safe for anybody who isn’t a squirrel…. though I’d still be nervous if I were a chipmunk.

OTOH, it might mean only that the mines are so sensitive, they can even be triggered by a 6oz red squirrel, such as we have here in California…

in which case, nothing any bigger, not even a large kitten, is safe….

and Claude would be blown to smithereens.

Even if Cleo knows the answer…. who wants to gamble on testing it?

And she’d better have a great memory, and/or great mine mapping skills…. cos she needs to visit that yard several times a day.

I’m changing the subject…. but they would LOVE Ted’s painting in Kansas City!

Also… great to see you here yesterday, Stel!

Hi, in advance, to Dry, since I usually don’t make it back in time.

And thanks JLess, for answering my nosy question….

and also, thanks to everybody who came to the movie.

Where I come from, “land mines” refer to cow poop. So, maybe Cleo was cleaning the lawn and will be burying the squirrel poop.
