Susan needs to invest in a hacksaw.

The feathers are a nice touch. Maybe Carl extended the doodad to Susan’s side in case she wanted to hang feathers too. Hmmm, nope it’s chainsaw time.

Cleo perked right up at the mention of pepperoni and extra cheese.

Hmmm…how was Cleo able to pick Claude’s pocket, slip in that phone number, and slip the wallet back into Claude’s pocket without him noticing anything? Those are some pretty dextrous paws!

Somehow, I think Cleo had something to do with that number getting into Claude’s wallet.

Farside99 & DennisinSeattle think alike. And you know what they say about great minds.

Well, it applies to them too.

@Nighthawks – Do they let Sherpa artists use the gymnette on the 4th floor at GoComics’ HQ?

Hey Nighthawks. This is probably a foolish question, but do you get a hit count on Cleo?

Hey, everybody…. sneaking in for a quick word…

and maybe a comment on the Jan 29th  2020 “CLEO and COMPANY”

    It’s ridiculously late… but I haven’t had a chance for a while.

Seems like you guys all think Cleo did it….

Could be…. I don’t know whether she could write at this juncture, but the long-“fingered” paws holding that slice could surely hold a pen.

But I, for one, find so many scraps of paper with phone numbers on them, in purses and pockets….

also business cards with a name and number, but little else… maybe some alphabet soup that signifies an occupation IF you recognise it.

why do people bother having those printed?

I’m not brave like Claude… I’m not going to call just to find out what it was about…

maybe I even I took the number just to get out of a conversation.

    No pepperoni for me, please.

A little on a combo is OK…. if you must.

    You know what’s really good?

Pesto instead of red sauce, with onions, mushrooms and LOTS of anchovies… maybe bell pepper.

    Nobody wants to share that?

    Aw… what a shame… I guess I’ll have to eat it all by myself….

There’s a new pizza place near me…. too near me.

    It’s a chain, but I don’t know how big.

OK, it’s not “gourmet” crust, but it’ll do.

The pizzas are individual size, and cheap…

with a cafeteria style line where you choose all the toppings you want, and they bake it.

Design a different pie every time!

Internet and phone were out last night.

Found out today it was a line affecting half the neighborhood.

It got fixed late today, but I had to leave…

Of course, tonight the comics locked up again as soon as I’d opened a few pages and given a few likes.

    Sigh…. this is getting OLD.

    Did I say “getting”?

    Anyway, I dozed off waiting.

    Bedtime!

Also…. just wanted to add my congratulations to Plods!

Sorry I couldn’t get back here to do it with everybody else.

Sounds like you’re doing a great job.

Odds are only odds, predictions are only guesses.

Stick around… we need you here!

Have you guys noticed I have no idea what “a quick word” means?

And I see that you were already here, Plods …

Hope you still see my comment!

While we were in San Diego we had my favorite pizza twice! Double Yum!

Thank you all for the kind words. Had my primary double dose my happy pills. The first time I took ’em helped me lose the big chunk of weight. Fingers crossed this jump starts a second half.

Claude forgets that he has that number in his wallet on purpose so he can accidentally find it. And just think, only 11 more months to go till the people on the fourth floor of the gym say that they will fix Sherpa by the year 2020.
