Good thing he has the dog to watch him, too. He almost escaped.

Yes, Fred, you do. I defer to the 2010 posters for the best comments on this strip.

Here I am … At last… to welcome all you Cleo fans, present and future… along with my fellow Puzzle People….

To the March 7th, 2020 edition of “Cleo and Company!”

Today’s strip is, of course, the Saturday Find the Differences puzzle….

Which you can find and solve on Sherpa ….

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

Or go straight to my side by side version, and solve it as Nighthawks and the puzzle gods intended:

I will, of course, later post the animation solution from our kind and helpful semi-anonymous animation-solution-maker PERFECTIONISTA.

@Dennis and anybody else who may have seen my first, messed up post…

Yes … Sorry…. I was the first one here, but I had to delete that one, and I’ve been trying ever since to get it to post properly.

It was full of partial repetitions, which, besides being unintelligible, also made it too long for a GoComics post, so parts were not only double or triple posted but truncated.

To make it harder, I’m doing this on my phone, with a tiny screen, and a different (virtual) keyboard from the one I’ve used for 10 years on other devices.

    Aasgh!

    But did I give up?

    No!

I must persevere, to bring the puzzle to the people!

I hope you have all refreshed, to see this, and have found my new version of my first post.

By the way, I discovered awhile back what causes posts like that…

I couldn’t believe it, but it’s one of those weird GoComics formatting traps.

I use a lot of dots for punctuation… like those.

It started because I used to use dashes— like those … But back then, GoComics would unexpectedly format words in between dashes as strikeout text.

I learned to switch to dots, and now I probably use too many.

But in the last year or two, it changed again, so that if you ever, accidentally or not, use TWO dots,

instead of one, or three or more, whole sections of your post get repeated several times, and mess up the whole thing.

I knew I must have done that… But the process of finding the errant two dots and deleting the repetitions took forever on this tiny screen.

    As for the puzzle…

I did it in just a few minutes…. Mostly.

But then there was one difference left….

One itty bitty little ¡@#&¿*! … um …

you know… that took forever to see.

I do love the artwork… especially the boots and the shiny, detailed jacket.

BTW… I also love today’s Ballard Street doggie.

    It might be Murphy.

Wonder what else he drags home from their walks.

I used to think I watched my little dog quite closely when we were walking…

But every so often I’d notice she had a tennis ball (her favorite thing) in her mouth.

We hadn’t bought one with us, and I’d never seen her find it or pick it up.

    Murphy is MUCH bigger.

Is a stray salesman REALLY so different from a tennis ball?

Susan, if I have a long post – which is rare – I write it up on Word and paste it into the comment box. Of course, I don’t use my phone or tablet in those instances. But it works well when you discover errors. You make corrections in Word, repost and delete the old comment. It’s hassle free posting.

    Yawn… I mean, um…. hello again….

Almost forgot to post the animation solution….

and you know the ever- so-kind-and-generous semi-anonymous animation-solution-maker PERFECTIONISTA,

while stel the nicest animation-solution-maker in the world, Can bi, as she states, also quite a PERFECTIONISTA… and would not like that.

    So, without further ado….

Or, as I keep seeing it written on the internet (by the same people who bring you “hugh” for “huge” and “peak” for “peek” AND “pique” )

    without further “adieu…”

(but don’t “peak” too early…. hey, that still makes sense, in a different way!) (and don’t use Neil Wick’s GCLinks till you try to solve the puzzle either, cos you’ll see this solution.

PS… Dennis… I guess you deleted the comment where you told me about my messed up post?

People may wonder why I replied!

But then, I bet people wonder a lot of things about me…. oh well.

    WOW… it’s raining!

    I can hear it.

    Yay

This is the first precipitation we’ve had here since late January….

the paper says it was our first February in 100 years with no rain.

I can’t believe it. I got all NINE! Two weeks in a row! What fun.

I loved the Bassetnator! What a hoot. And such brilliant colors, too. The biggest problem was choosing what color to use to circle the differences. Purp- – - worked the best.

BTW, love the Bassetnator — He’s got real potential as a character!
