A helmet is a good idea with today’s drivers being the way they are .

Barry has the look of a driver who needs to be given a lot of medication.

I admit it. I snuck an early peek at today’s (June 10, 2020) Cleo & Company because I was online with nothing better to do. Here ’s what puzzles me. What does Lawrence of Arabia have to do with “hump day?” And was there a film called “Frankenstein and Igor?”

Holey socks, Claude! You are wearing your old glasses. I assume that is a print (or is it the original?) of “Nighthawks” over the couch? Nice touch.

Aaagh… I just made a long comment and accidentally deleted it.

“No problem,” think. “I always copy my comment before I submit it. I’ll just paste it back.”

    And it isn’t there!

    ¿@*$&#!

So here we go again…. let’s take it from the top:

    Welcome, everybody….

to a blast from the past in

the June 10th  2020 “CLEO and COMPANY” on Sherpa.

Right, Dennis… old socks, old glasses…. and old Cleo.

Lying on the floor, thinking aloud (but only to us) in thought balloons…

before she started sitting on the couch in between Claude and Clara… commandeering the remote, and (audibly) ordering pizza.

The Cliffords had that Hopper print for a long time…. wonder where it went when Clara redecorated.

Oops… I don’t mean to sound sexist. I didn’t say when they redecorated cos I get the feeling that to Claude, a couch is merely a place to sit.

    And @Liverlips….

    Yup… all about the humps.

But I Googled “Igor and Frankenstein” and I couldn’t find that title.

Perhaps Nighthawks wanted to use “Young Frankenstein” but thought we might not remember the hump.

    Like Igor. “What hump?”

I like that Coyoty… 10 years ago… stole a line from the Ballard Street of a week or so before…

which was, itself, stolen from “A Perfect Day for Bananafish”.

Salinger, with his penchant for repeating characters and bits of storylines, might have enjoyed that too.

There is a line from a very early punk band that popped into my head, “…he’s going the distance…”.

I think the Cliffords are relaxing after a big dinner. Claude is very casual, especially with his jeans un-buttoned! Nice touch with the Nighthawks print.

Geek time: I spent a lot of yesterday gaming on Destiny 2. It just started a new season and was up late. Therefore late morning and waaaaaaay behind in comics.

Not only is it hump day, it’s also odor day. The smell from Claude’s feet was so bad that his socks disintegrated. I can’t make out what the picture is.
