So today …. he’s thinking about taking a class:

It’s a fake book…there are no rules for the “Ruling Class”. They do whatever they want whenever and however they want.

Well thanks, glad you like it… I think Old Joe Clark is one of the longest songs there is. people have made up hundreds of verses. I keep it to a half a dozen when I sing it.-———————————————————————I could make up some….but I promised people I wouldn’t do that anymore. Some people have no sense of humor!

Never thought about that. There was some talk, awhile back, about he and Monkey getting into to it over something. Maybe Mickey made Monkey an offer he could refuse ?

Re: Old Joe ClarkAccording to my usual fading memory about folk history, one of the reasons that Joe Clark is so long is that it was the equivalent of Ten Bottles of Beer on the Wall for the pioneers.As they crossed the never ending, ever boring prairies, the would sing Joe Clark and add verses to keep themselves awake and amused.

No money to carry them out, however!

This would make “Monopoly” much more interesting…
