If I got something motion activated (I have no dog problem but feral cats prowl my back yard all the time trying to poach at my bird feeders) it would be the one that hooks up to water hose.

I never tried using anything like THAT shovel, but at my old house back in Skokie I rented a pretty good size backhoe and single-handedly dug and built my first backyard waterfall. Did all of the main project in one laborday weekend, later adding more pretty mica rocks and my mermaid from Chijuajua Mx (back then SHE was part of my carry-on luggage). It was sort of fun to travel on business when I could do that.

Oh, and I also rented the little electric cement mixer; only took one bag at a time, but it only took 16 bags of it to do the whole pond and sump (to place the pump in). Piping was very simple; just a bit exposed in the sump with a coupling, and a rise of less than 3’ total (discharging at the base of the mermaid (who stood another 30" high from her tail).

I think I tried once per Suan’s directions to post some photos, and that is when they HAD a web address (on Webshots). I wass thinking of puting all my “unlimited” albums on Carbonite and also use it for regular backups, but they expired on Dec 1 (and most are saved on disks or hard drives somewhere).I am just such a procrastinator! (for anything that really takes effort)..I washed, quartered and peeled 14 of my nice Navel oranges that I picked yesterday, and they are in the 2nd blanching up on the stove. I just finished eating my lunch/supper while watching most of theis week’s Top Chef. After I drain again, I need to slice into around 1/4" slices and make a light syrup to candy them. (They have to be stirred and watched carefully towards the end of that) then they will go in a single layer on top of more sugar (which will then have the orange flavor from the drippings – very nice in coffee if you USE real sugar.I like Stevia and brandy in my coffee.

Lately the only place online I have any of my photos is on my Facebook. I have contact there with family as well as my reinactment group and my Cornell hawks group

@Linda, I used to subscribe to Ms Larson a few years ago, but some of my kids have slow computers and did not like that, so I quit although it was not expensive. Only one of my grandkids is still in grade school now and 2 are in college. I will see the youngest and his sister for sure and possibly one of the oldest. I have not been reading emails even every day lately as the cable company seems to be using subtle ways to coerce us all into “Bundles”. I HAVE both digital TV and internet with them but I don’t really trust digital phones (my cell is ONLY for travel).

first you put in< a href =’but the only space is between the a and h

then you add the URLafter the URL you add’ > WORD/LINK < / a >without any spaces.and the WORD/LINK changes to blue and is the link

just remember,the only space is between the first a and hrefand WORD/LINK can be anything.

I am going to have to try that photo stuff when I have more free time. I was just trying on some black velvet jeans that I will wear up there to see how much I need to shorten (if I wear JEANS it will be with flats or the snow boots I sent to his house direct from the store. I will do that sewing and also finish the orange peels with 85% chocolate tomorrow. Time is getting short and I’m SO happy about that.

Fun comments Y’all. Looks like Bev uses one of my fav brands. It is really late for me but trying to catch up on stuff. I am having problems with my printer (wants to skip every few lines in a .doc) and I want to print and share many recipes on this trip -such a PAIN! I have cleaned heads and aligned them as well as other stuff today while trying to work on the orange peel. All the while I can’t stop thinking about (other stuff) so even my BP readings are not what I want (but Resperate says I’m doing fine). I will chat more with the advisors there when I return if I see no improvement in BP, but I AM pretty sure that is ALL I need!G’night for now!

Seeing Linda’s happiness makes me want to do that too; I may have to post the photos that I save somewhere other than Facebook so I can post them here larger than an avatar. ’nite again!
