The men of Ballard Street are free spirits, it’s true. I am kind of glad that the women are a bit more conservative, by and large.

I only know the term “hoo ha” from Janet Evanovich, and yes, it does seem to apply to females only. Of course there is no shortage of euphemisms for the male side of things.
