To clarify: generally men on Ballard Street wear checks. If this is a new trend I will have to adapt quickly at my Fabric Shoppe and Hair Restoration Store.

Whoa! Swinging those eyes around like that would make me seasick. These guys must be made of sterner stuff!

Based on the fabric this appears to be a female, but other features suggest a male. Can anyone identify this individual?

I wanted to join the Great Dane Club…..
but the rules were too strict for my taste.
I didn’t want to wear the mask 3 days a week, when meetings are only twice a month.
I didn’t want to participate in reading Hamlet aloud at Ballard Park….
and I especially didn’t like some of the greeting rituals.
Â
Dennis… based on the body shape…I would say definitely male.
Â
From my experience as a hairstylist, and from what I’ve seen working at the Tiki……
my “guesstimate” would be that 20% of the men, give or take, own at least one polka dot shirt…
and wear it now and then.
Â
An even higher percentage of them sometimes wear polka dot shorts or swimming trunks…
Â
I don’t think it’s really a growing trend…
though it could be, albeit slowly.
But the ladies’ polka dot fabrics will do for the men…
except for the pinks and lavenders and such.
Â
Stocking a few bolts in more traditionally “manly” colors like brown and navy wouldn’t hurt…
after all, the ladies can wear those too.
But I wouldn’t have a clearance on plaid any time soon.Liverlips McCracken Premium Member over 8 years ago
Perhaps I am missing something, but why would not a Great Dane mask have eye holes?

Whoa, I like the idea. Two adjustable views. A twist to view left and right is needed. I’m thinking “Shark Tank.”

The Great Dane Club members are thinkers.
With optical equipment tinkers.
The masks mandatory,
will tell the whole story.
For safety, they really need blinkers.

I, too, looked into membership. However their rituals were too………..“earthy” for me.
For example: Potty breaks were taken behind the old oak tree on Main Street.
Refreshments were plain water and dry cookies. and were placed on the floor. No napkins or saucers!
And the club “handshake” was…….well suffice it to say, I ain’t doin’ that!!!

Perhaps there is a Lesser Dane Club, where the mask laws aren’t quite as daunting!
