Digger loves the taste of plywood.

The yard is littered with Digger’s previous trophies. Stranger, you picked the wrong side of Ballard Street!

Digger is about to meet the briefcase of retribution. Several times. Then it’s on to his master for a little more “education”.

Newcomer. It’s always “the new kid” who getS it.

Digger doesn’t necessarily have good taste in fabrics….

but he does know which fabrics have a good taste.

He doesn’t seem to like synthetic indigo….so you’re pretty safe if you wear blue jeans.

Not sure about fancy schmancy hip “organic cotton” jeans….

cos he might like natural indigo, if they use it.

One good thing about wearing pants from Dennis’s Fine Fabrics And Fish is that the pants are so expansive and stiff that even Digger gets fabric and no leg!

Digger will be shoveling off now.

Disdaining the title of “Yard Guard”, Digger prefers to regard himself as an “Ambush Predator”.

Personally i don’t mind.

I use all Diggers scraps to help line my nest.

Digger, you’re a naughty boy.

And what’s left over from Happy3’s nest, I’ll color coordinate them and make a patchwork quilt.

Actually, Digger has quite friendly feelings towards this stranger. You see, he has always been looking for that “Patch of Blue”…
