BTW… in countries that don’t write the date American-style, with the month first…. ie, July 23rd, or 7/23, for today..
they don’t celebrate Pi Day on March 14th… because to them, it’s 14.3, not 3.14.
To make up for that, in parts of the world where yesterday’s date was 22 July, or 22/7…
it was celebrated as Pi Approximation Day.
We baked about 127 extra pi’s, I mean… pies… in my pie shop…. apple, blueberry, and cherry ones…. so I could run an Approximate Pi Day special….
And then I didn’t make it to most of my comics last night.
Tonight, the site was down for about an hour and a half after the turn.
That means that now I have about 122 leftover pies…
So, while supplies last…. everyone is welcome to one free piece of day-old pie at my pie shop or the Tiki, or you can buy a whole one for $3.14.
(Note: Today’s fresh pies are priced as usual…. but the day-old ones are still delicious!)
And to everyone…. no matter where you live:
My very best, though a bit belated, wishes, for a
very Happy Pi Approximation Day!
