Alfred was just passing by, only to be impaled by an errant fencer in training! No chance to parry, neither 4 nor 6! I only hope the trainee had the safety guard on the tip.
At a performance of MACBETH at my university, MacDuff and MacBeth were having their final duel. The MacBeth actor accidentally knocked the sword from MacDuff, and it spun out into the audience and hit some guy in the first row in the gut. MacDuff screamed “Is there a doctor in the house?” The audience member was fine, and the play continued.
