Erwin doesn’t want the boss to sneak up on him.

OK Erwin, you can have a thought. It will be protected. Now, what is your thought?

I just made this desk spotless. Nobody’s going to clutter it up with more work!

Erwin has figured out how to reduce the number of screws used to assemble the Thermablodgett by one screw. At $0.02 per screw. that’s a savings of $2.00 on their yearly production of 100 Thermablodgetts.

He knows that if nobody can get to him, nobody can fire him.

And nobody knows just what the heck he does there, so he’s good.

Only 14 years til retirement. And then people will say “Remember good ole Erwin?” …. no.

It’s almost as good as a moat.

Keep a close watch, Erwin. You’re not paranoid; they really are coming to get you!

I’m afraid Erwin isn’t too hip to computers.

Last Friday he heard Jackson and Paige from accounting talking about the “Information Superhighway.”

So… he figured he’d better install those guard rails to keep his section of it private

Seems he has a bumper crop of ideas this week….step away from the desk….

You should have seen the crew it took to get those barriers up the elevator and to his desk.

Erwin is convinced that he’s working on the successor to the Manhattan Project; the Yonkers Project.

Erwin is stronger than he looks.

Erwin works in parking lot design and is trying out some new layouts.
