No particular engine, I take it. Just small ones. Very nice. I hope the cinder block is not the permanent base.

When one of the neighbors discovers his Toro has been taken apart, Randy is in soooo much trouble.

It ran beautifully until the dog lifted his leg on it…

One would think Randy should build some type of cover over his engine. Keep the rain off of it.

If that’s Scuffy, Randy is about to learn that Scuffy recently developed a morbid hatred of small engines.

They’ll eventually get so small you won’t be able to repair them without the aid of the Hubble telescope.

Small engines make Randy feel big.

He’s fond-a Honda, but even more-o for for Toro. He’s big on Briggs and bi-polar towards Kohler. He’d steal for a Stihl and then run like a Deere.

Randy and small engines go together like ham and eggs.

It’s a gas gas gas!

Nothing is as simple as a small one lung two cycle engine.

And the dog’s aim is dead on!

Check out flying model planes, Randy. That’s a small engine.

However, Gertrude wishes he’d quit procrastinating and just mow the lawn already!

Randy is a tad selfish though, no doubt there are others on Ballard St who share Randy’s passion but that fence makes it hard to see Randy’s trophy.

Randy is not alone. Why, even here in Tasmania we have admirers of small engines. Admittedly this group has a preponderance of tractors, but they also have large a mounts of antique, preserved small engines too. https://www.hmct.com.au/ There are many admirers of small engines across the planet.

Doesn’t look like the dog—whichever one it is—shares Randy’s enthusiasm for small engines.

“The little engine that could” is Randy’s favourite. “Could do what?”, wonders Randy.
