Stanley will wish he had engaged the day if he’s still there when Bertha sits down.

Ah yes, Big Bertha…she just may sit down on purpose. Poor Stanley forgot her birthday yesterday.

The carpet isn’t mashed down under here.

Stanley thinks better under pressure.

I’d say the day has engaged him.

“Hiding” under the couch is not going to work or help for several reasons.

You’re doing just fine Stanly. Sofa, so good.

I feel he’s already engaged the day earlier, and it didn’t end well.

Some prefer to see life through rose colored glasses, Stanley chooses yellow. Having now seen Bertha’s decor (we are not A list), I’m beginning to see why…

You can’t hide from reality that way.

Stanley retreats to under the couch when life gets too much for him. Which is increasingly more frequent these days.
