Well he’s been inert for so long he probably started to sprout weeds. Birdie there is looking for bugs no doubt.
Carl should consider himself lucky. It’s the mosquitos that like to commune with me.

Most animals seem to enjoy being cleaned of ticks.. Carl is definitely an outlier
