She thinks he’s the barking, obnoxious one, but we all know the truth.

It’s a remarkable likeness. The teeth alone are exact copies of hers, and her hair does look like fur. But the most accurate resemblance is her breath…..

That’s because Gerard often rolls up his paper and smacks her when she gets too noisy.

It’s all she does is bark at him. For no reason…

He knows that when she barks like that, it’s good to hunch down a little, keep alert – watching with your eyes, and don’t move until she calms down.

Long rows of sharp teeth, Check. Wider-than-actually-possible maw, Check. Breath that could down a Pterodactyl, Check. But Geraldine simply cannot master the crooked tongue…

The most striking similarity is Geraldine’s propensity to sniff other humans’ butts.
