Years ago I read a marvelous essay, and I wish I could find it again. It argued that the “three little words” which do the most to bring happiness to the world (and the individual) are not “I Love You” but “Let Me Help.”
If you’ve got a problem,I don’t care what it is,If you need a hand,I can assure you this,I can help,I’ve got two strong arms,And I can help.It would sure do me goodTo do you good,Let me help.
