I learned two new words today: octothorpe mad pilcrow. Now, will I ever get to use them?
Correction: “and” not “mad”. Though this autocorrect, or whatever it’s called, does anger me!
Incidentally, Merriam-Webster’s Word of the Day today is “hashtag,” whose further description brings up “octothorpe.”Thanks for teaching me “pilcrow,” anyway. It means what I suspected from context.
