I’ve come around to where I feel we should have a government run health care system like Sweden. Also, ‘free’ education through college, or technical school if so desired by the individual.
It would be paid for with higher taxes, which wouldn’t be bad because you wouldn’t be saddled with health care costs when you needed health care, or wouldn’t have to pay for higher education.
And it wouldn’t be socialism. You would still have capitalism like we do now.
And Sweden doesn’t have a minimum wage for workers, and things seem to be fine.

It’d be nicer if he offered them plans. Corporate plans are generally better than private plans (as I’m now learning).

He may have to pay them higher wages in order to keep them. It’s just good business to keep good employees!

Nationalized health care and free college education pay for themselves as healthy and educated people contribute greatly to the national economy.
