When I was in ninth or tenth grade Biology we learned about evolution. At the end of the unit, my teacher muttered something like, “I’m also supposed to tell you able how all life was created by one being, but I’m not going to do that.” And that was it for the Bible’s version. This was before the phrase “Intelligent Design” was coined.
I grew up in a Christian family, I know God created all things, He did it in 6 real days, and that evolution is just a theory. I learned enough in Biology class to pass the tests, and never argue in class with the teacher about it. There are plenty of scientists out there who believe in God, who believe that the “carbon dating” is wrong and that science can actually prove what the Bible says. And with the internet these days, they can publish and record their findings very easily.
