My eight-year-old desktop finally died last weekend. My kids and techie friends who think I live in the Stone Age, persuaded me to buy a laptop with a touch screen. Unfortunately I find it a PITA to write reports on. (Actually, a pain in the wrist: my carpal tunnel flared up after typing for hours on that flat keyboard with the touchpad that kept moving the cursor the moment I brushed it.) So I ended up buying a wireless keyboard and mouse. I would have been happier with the old-fashioned “black tower” setup.
