Most of the written history of the Civil War place it in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Soldiers and historians and reenactors don’t like to get too far from their sources of whisky.
I knew a guy that was a Civil War Reenactor. He told me that the TV Miniseries “North and South” used his group as extras. He says he was a dead body that Patrick Swayze jumped over in one scene.

They always say they are going to tell you something “for the last time” but they then tell you again later.

I’d like to see a reenactment of the Battle of the Monitor and Merrimac.
