It’s part of my job to rat people out. They generally respect that I have a job to do, and if I do it in a way that shows honor and respect to them, they are usually understanding at least. Being apologetic about your duties is not a way to earn respect.

This is one I haven’t seen before, quite witty, I love Scott’s last line in panel 1. Unquestionable, simple, logic.
