My abacus still works as good as the day my mom gave it to me in kindergarten.

OpenVMS. There were examples of that OS running for over twenty years without issue or even a reboot.

My computer never has problems. It’s an inanimate object. I, on the other hand, sometimes have trouble with it, like when it crashes.

I have three computers on my desk – Mac, Windows and Linux – and they collaborate in having the same problems at the same time. We are doomed.

Computers are really works of the Devil. Think of the last time you saw someone at a computer keyboard taking the Lord’s name in vain.

I have had more trouble with my corporate computer than with my personal ones. The IT people are so concern with security that they make a lot of legacy programs unusable.

I’ve run on a bunch of different operating systems based on what my employer was running. Vax-VMS, HP-UX, Red Hat Linux, Windows of various flavors include CE, iOS, Android, they all seemed to start out fine, but as patches and feature updates and such came out the level of collateral just seemed to explode. I’m not in that side of the business any more, but that seems to be a relatively pervasive problem.

Those are operating systems. I never have trouble with my “computer” (battery fire, hard drive crash, etc.)
