LOL. My cat sniffs all my library books when we get in bed at night. Some seem to impress her more than others.

Books smell better than a tablet reader!

Every time I walk in I smell them all.

There is nothing like the smell of old books. I have a wall of them. And, yes, some of them are hide-bound.

The smell of a library makes me grab a book as soon as I go in, and head straight to the bathroom…

I worked in the school library when I was in college. I smelled the books. Some do smell better than others.

I agree with all, and love the word " musty" to describe the good ones. And sometimes the paperbacks are “mustier” than the hard covers. Old memories of the childhood days of discovering the joy of reading?

Now there’s someone who doesn’t own a kindle.

And that’s not at all creepy.

I don’t think books are anything to sniff at, though the cat does it all the time.
