Most of the names are descriptive of personal characteristics in some way, as named were anciently. Clumsy Carp, Wiley and Curly have such names; but we’d demote them to nicknames. B.C. is pure anachronism; Grog is pure onomatopoeia. Only Peter and Thor have proper names by our standards, and who knows where they came from.

All things considered, they’re better names than Grunt, Sneeze, Scratch, and other things some artists might’ve come up with for cave people instead. :))

Fat broad reminds me of an ex co worker, her nickname was THE VIKING, before I got there, they even had a cartoon picture of Helda the viking on the wall in the lunchroom in her honour. Most of us called her MAN HANDS.
